YOUR LOCATION MANAGER IN TUSCANY
Simona Serafini
Our point of reference for location scouting and location management.
Simona Serafini is Ecoframes’ point of reference for location scouting and location management. She coordinates a location department made up of assistants and collaborators, supporting productions from the initial search through to filming on location. Born in Florence, Simona studied architecture at the University of Florence and has worked in location and production management since 1998.
Her experience spans feature films, TV series, documentaries, music videos and advertising. Her work has taken her across Tuscany and other Italian regions, as well as to international locations.
Working closely with the Ecoframes production team, her department collaborates with Toscana Film Commission, public authorities, private organisations and location owners, particularly in Tuscany and across central and northern Italy. Together, they coordinate filming permit applications, required notifications, access arrangements and the administrative and practical support needed for the shoot.
