“Per desiderio” a documentary film based on literary, poetic, photographic and astrophysical images of the sky. written by Paola Tricomi
Filming will cover eastern Sicily and Pisa. In splendid landscape frames such as the Etna Park, the Greek Theatre of Syracuse or Piazza dei Miracoli, literary dialogues on the theme of the sky will alternate with some interviews: with astrophotographers Marco Meniero, Teresa Molinaro and Riccardo Agnello; Professor Andrea Ferrara, professor of astrophysics at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa; to Luca Parmitano, the world-famous Sicilian astronaut. The project is in collaboration with the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, the Scuola Superiore of Catania and the University of Catania, and sponsored by the Municipality of Pisa.
The docufilm aims to enhance the relationship between man and nature, through culture and science, but also the observation of the sky beyond the boundaries visible from the horizon.
