The idea comes from philologist, doctoral student and writer Paola Tricomi, who is also a screenwriter with Francesca Moscarella and Andrea Orlando, and protagonist of the story. A bit of scientific and literary disclosure, a bit of a tale of fiction and reality, the film unfolds between two of the most fascinating Italian regions from a landscape-architectural point of view, Sicily and Tuscany. The project, sponsored by the municipality of Pisa, is funded in collaboration with major universities and higher education schools: the Scuola Superiore di Catania with the University of Catania and the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa. ESA, the European space agency, collaborated on the first day of shooting by offering the availability of an interview with the well-known astronaut Luca Parmitano.

The piano, an instrument of music and passion, has become a common and essential object over the centuries, few know it, but it was born in Florence in the eighteenth century, going through in its technical evolution and social dissemination moments of wonderful historical interest, which involve the whole of Italy , from north to south, in the evolution of its customs, with interesting anecdotes and episodes to be discovered.
